RNIB to transform procurement with Proactis

Proactis, the spend management experts, today announced that one of the UK’s largest charities, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is to use the Proactis Source-to-Contract suite to modernise its procurement processes.

The Proactis suite will automate and drive efficiency across RNIB’s key Source-to-Contract processes, from strategic sourcing and contract management through to supplier management and managing organisation-wide spend.

The solution from Proactis will make it easier for RNIB staff to access goods and services from approved suppliers, find and qualify the best suppliers, maintain its comprehensive supplier directory and manage the supplier lifecycle. From initial identification through adoption, approval, and monitoring against accreditations, contracts, SLAs and KPIs. The company will also benefit from effective contract management, with visibility of existing contracts, compliance monitoring and contract renewal alerts.

“As a charity, we want to introduce far more rigour and standardisation to the way we source, select and manage suppliers and contracts,” stated Glenn Hurst, Head of Procurement at RNIB. “By using Proactis, we intend to improve and develop supplier and contract performance and enhance our strategic sourcing to deliver more value to the organisation.”
