ManoMano selects Proactis P2P for the next stage of its digital transformation
Proactis, the leading Source-to-Pay software solution provider, today announced that ManoMano has selected Proactis Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to control spend across the organisation.
ManoMano is the largest marketplace for products and services in the DIY, Gardening and Home Improvement sector in Europe, with 50 million visits per month.
As one of the French Tech Next40/120*, the company has grown exponentially since its formation in 2013, with 1,000 employees and an annual turnover of €1.5 Billion. As part of an ongoing digital transformation process, the company wanted a single solution for the ordering to payment process that could evolve as the company grows. 10,000 invoices are processed annually and there was a need for more insight into current obligations and uniformity of working methods within various parts of the organisation.
“We had a number of objectives for this project,” stated Ronald Mounien, ManoMano Finance Information Systems Manager. “We needed a solution that was easy to implement and adopt to improve the efficiency of all of our procurement processes, but particularly visibility and control of spend and budgets.”
With the upcoming French legislation where eInvoicing and eReporting will become mandatory, all French businesses will need to be able to receive eInvoices from their suppliers. This was a key consideration for ManoMano in the selection process.
After careful review and consideration, ManoMano selected Proactis. The capabilities of the Proactis P2P solution perfectly matched the company’s needs and expectations and, due to the modular nature of Proactis, the solution can grow with the company. Use of the solution will ensure that the organisation has control over its spend and will be able to optimise budgets, all while adhering to the new legislation.
"This is a big change internally, and to make this change as smooth as possible, we needed a user-friendly system that helps order-takers get started quickly," added Ronald.
The Proactis solutions will support the day-to-day purchasing process in a way that ensures compliance with the organisation’s sourcing and authorisation rules. The solution will help avoid unnecessary or unsuitable spend, while making it as easy as possible for employees throughout the organisation to buy the goods and services they need.
“We are delighted that such a modern, forward-thinking company has selected Proactis,” stated Olivier Jung, France Market Director at Proactis. "Both ManoMano and Proactis have embraced the modern way of working, meeting the needs of remote working and new regulations, and our P2P solution perfectly fits ManoMano’s requirements to further streamline its procurement process.”
