Louvre Hotels Group to implement a new spend management solution from Proactis
November 2021 - Proactis, the spend management experts, has announced that the Louvre Hotels Group has signed an agreement to implement a new procurement solution, confirming the Group’s confidence in Proactis spend management solutions.
With a range of hotels, Louvre Hotels Group is a major player in the global hotel industry, with a portfolio of over 1,600 hotels in 54 countries. Louvre Hotels Group is a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings Co, Ltd, the world's 2nd largest hotel group.
As part of the Group's ERP deployment programme and strategic transformation plan, Louvre Hotels Group has chosen to deploy Proactis' new procurement solution to its hotels in Europe. The solution will enable the Group's hoteliers to access supplier catalogs directly through its European marketplace, called “The Store” and implemented by Proactis.
Excellent levels of performance and commitment was key in the selection of the solution, to improve the purchasing process of each facility and to facilitate exchanges with suppliers.
When connected to its global marketplace, "The Store" will enable the Group's hotels to manage all their orders, while benefiting from negotiated content tailored to their needs. Strategic purchases, which are essential to the hotels’ operations, are managed through the Proactis marketplace. This represents a volume of nearly 200,000 orders per year, particularly for food purchases. 90% of the orders are now completely paperless.
"We are very pleased that Louvre Hotels Group has chosen Proactis again for the new procurement solution. The marketplace is used daily by the Group's hoteliers for recurring purchases that are essential to their business. Our robust solutions and high-performance associated services, help to ensure that customers get their breakfast every day!” stated Olivier Jung, Market Director France at Proactis.
"Proactis has been working with us for nearly 10 years. We appreciate their commitment to understanding our operational issues and providing solutions adapted to our needs. Proactis provides more than just a technological solution, they provide a range of services, from on-boarding of suppliers to user support, including the monitoring of order and invoice flows,” added Laurent George, IT Finance & Purchasing Transformation Director from Louvre Hotels Group. “This project is fully integrated into our ERP transformation programme, and will give us better integration capabilities, particularly with other marketplaces, while building a relationship of trust with Proactis, and its existing, efficient ecosystem. It is also an opportunity for us to broaden the spectrum of functionalities and improve the experience of our hotel users.”
