The pandemic has brought huge changes to virtually every individual and organisation, public and private sector, in most countries across the world.
In some cases, the impact and effects are probably relatively short-term, but others will have more lasting impacts. Some will undoubtedly prove negative, but some will turn out to be positive too, particularly if we embrace what has been learnt.
In this paper, we will look at five lessons that emerged for Procurement leaders, teams and functions through 2020 and 2021, as organisations assessed how best to cope with the pandemic. These lessons should provide useful direction as we move forward into the post-Covid world, and they apply to every firm, charity or public body.
