Proactis announces executive appointments to drive continued global growth

7 September 2017 - Proactis, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced the appointment of three regional directors to drive continued global growth and customer excellence, following the acquisition of Perfect Commerce on 7 August. 

The Group’s regional customer facing and go-to-market teams will be led by Tripp Shannon for Americas, Australia and New Zealand, Craig Slater for UK, and Martial Gerardin for Continental Europe. These teams will be supported by global infrastructure and service teams managed by Hamp Wall CEO, Sean McDonough COO and Tim Sykes CFO.

“The appointments of Tripp, Craig and Martial enhance the strong capabilities of our executive team and will help us drive continued global growth and customer excellence in our core regional territories,” said Hamp Wall, CEO of Proactis.

Americas, Australia and New Zealand will be managed by Tripp Shannon who has worked at Perfect Commerce since it was acquired by CorMine, a procurement services company, in 2007. Prior to that, Tripp had 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He became Chief Financial Officer of Perfect Commerce when the company was acquired by CorMine and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Tripp is a graduate of Colgate University and received a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2002.

Craig Slater will head up UK operations. Craig has more than 25 years’ experience of commercial, operational and group management roles in software, manufacturing, construction and marketing groups occupying senior positions of CEO and COO in several UK listed companies including 4imprint, RTS, Eleco, Altitude and Avacta. He is also, presently, Non-executive Chairman of Custom Gateway, QPC and Sitedesk (all non-competing PE-backed software companies). This experience is combined with strong finance and planning skills and the completion of many corporate transactions including two IPOs, one delisting, a demerger and numerous acquisitions and disposals.

Continental Europe will be managed by Martial Gerardin. Martial brings more than 30 years of business development and marketing experience in solutions for procurement, finance and B2B exchanges, for large international accounts. Martial has worked for Perfect Commerce since 2004, has served as CEO of Answork, one of the first marketplaces for B2B eCommerce and was responsible for business development at Sopra Steria, a European leader in IT services. Martial holds a degree from Ecole Centrale de Lille, and a Licence of Economics Science.
