- Proactis, the global spend management and B2B eCommerce company, has announced that Places for People, one of the UK’s largest property and leisure management, development and regeneration companies, is using Proactis Contract Management to drive maximum efficiency and visibility from every supplier contract.
Places for People is made up of more than 20 specialist companies, each working towards building sustainable communities that are accessible to all. The organisation wanted all contract information on a common platform that’s secure, visible and able to be shared across all the businesses.
Places for People now uses Proactis Contract Management to work with its incumbent Unit4 Business World On! ERP system to capture all supplier requirements, specifically in terms of insurance levels and accreditations. Instead of having to verify every response to every question, the entire process is shorter, and provides an audit trail as all information is captured and can be shared.

Although going through a data cleansing exercise, many contracts are already on the Proactis system. As these contracts are contained in one online platform, changes and information are visible to everyone.
