PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced a UK-based university has selected its cloud eProcurement solutions to cut costs and ensure value for money is being obtained through efficient and effective procurement practices.
The University joins PROACTIS' growing list of education clients having signed an agreement for its cloud eProcurement solutions to automate the full procure-to-pay cycle.
PROACTIS will enable the University to obtain greater visibility of spend and introduce controls to regulate spending, as well as encourage budget holders to become more accountable.

About the Solution

PROACTIS will automate the tendering process and give suppliers the opportunity to do business with the University - from eTendering to contracts management, the solution will allow buyers to manage risk while at the same time maintain full visibility.
PROACTIS will also make it quick and easy for faculty and support staff to locate best pricing with their preferred suppliers, find and compare items, raise requisitions and purchase orders, receipt goods and services, allow 3-way matching of invoices and more.
The fully integrated cloud eProcurement solution will be compatible with the University's financial software CODA-Dream to provide essential insight and management information into spend activity.
