
Accountancy Firm BDO LLP Implements PROACTIS Cloud eProcurement

- PROACTIS today announced that accountancy firm, BDO LLP, has completed the first phase of a cloud eProcurement project to automate its purchase-to-pay processes.
- BDO LLP is the award-winning UK member firm of the BDO international network, the world's fifth largest accountancy firm, with more than 1,000 offices in over 100 countries.
- The PROACTIS cloud eProcurement solution is being piloted at 3 offices, integrating to BDO's PeopleSoft ERP, before the roll-out is extended to 13 regional offices.
- With spend on indirect goods and services of £70m per year, BDO is using PROACTIS to rationalise and streamline the whole purchasing process under one system and improve the tracking and accounting of purchases.
- By channelling their goods and services spend through PROACTIS, BDO will generate cost savings from the improved compliance with negotiated contracts and the reduced time taken to authorise and process orders.
- The accountancy firm will also achieve operational advantages in Accounts Payable by streamlining the receipt of invoices and allowing for intelligent matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices.
