PROACTIS Launches Managed Document & Data Capture Service
News Facts
- PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced the launch of a Managed Document and Data Capture Service for driving efficiency in invoice processing.
- The managed service is aimed at any organisation looking to lower costs; improving control of Accounts Payable (AP) and Purchasing operations and shortening cycle times. It is based on Intelligent Capture ICMS technology.
- PROACTIS will use this managed service in conjunction with its own purchase-to-pay technology to streamline the processing and approval of invoices across every type of AP transaction, including paper, email, fax, PDF, XML, EDI and portal.
- The solution is already in use by several organisations with large-volume AP operations, allowing them to avoid the high capital, people and maintenance costs of scanning and OCR equipment, mailroom and storage.
Supporting Quotes
- Joe Taylor, Head of Sales & Marketing, PROACTIS said: "Any initiative that continually and materially contributes to the bottom line is always going to be of interest to us and our clients. Specifically, we see mounting pressure on Finance teams to transform expensive back-office paper-based processes to be lean, automated, cost-efficient and effective departments. AP Invoicing is routinely one of the easiest targets."
- "The PROACTIS managed service removes all physical handling of supplier invoices, credit notes and other AP information. It ensures these documents are fully integrated into existing systems. As a result you can expect substantial cost savings, improved processes and enhanced supplier relationships," continued Joe.
