East of England Ambulance Trust Streamlines Procurement with PROACTIS
East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust selects PROACTIS supplier relationship management, sourcing and contract management solutions
PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust has signed a contract to implement its strategic procurement solutions to improve financial controls in the areas of supplier collaboration, sourcing and contract management.
The East of England NHS Trust has an income of £186 million, employs 3,800 people and serves over 5 million people across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Being a publicly funded organisation, the Trust is always looking for ways to achieve better value and reduce costs so more funds are available for frontline services.
- PROACTIS supply relationship management software will be deployed to streamline the supplier cycle - from initial identification through adoption, approval, transaction and analysis - providing the Trust's suppliers with controlled access to maintain their own company information, and to view current account status without needing to call.
- PROACTIS sourcing software will be adopted to speed up the sourcing process and help the Trust to organise vendor data more efficiently. This will enable the Procurement team to take the necessary time to evaluate and select suppliers who will best meet the needs of the Trust and significantly reduce administration time and effort.
- PROACTIS contract management software has been chosen to improve financial management by offering central handling of all supplier contracts and provide full visibility and control over contracts and review dates. This will enable the Trust to accelerate contract negotiation cycles and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
PROACTIS eProcurement software will be integrated to the Trust's Agresso Business World ERP system to provide full visibility and control of their procure-to-pay process.
