Genesis Housing Selects PROACTIS Supplier Management
PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced it is to supply Genesis Housing with a supplier management system that will enable the association to proactively monitor their suppliers and mitigate risk.
Genesis Housing is one of largest and most diverse housing groups in the UK that owns or manages some 40,000 properties. A key driver for the project was to better understand their supplier base and the risk they carry.
PROACTIS will enable Genesis to maintain a comprehensive supplier directory that will provide a clear picture of current and potential suppliers. It offers easily accessible supplier intelligence, including a record of all certifications and specialities, categorisation of provided goods and services, and performance measurement against key indicators.
PROACTIS is also proven to reduce administrative effort by up to 80% while improving supplier engagement. It simplifies supplier information management and communications by providing a supplier portal for self-service maintenance of company information and catalogues, as well as self-service account enquiries.
The procurement solution, which can be used standalone or integrated to an ERP/Finance system, will be integrated to the association's Agresso Business World ERP by strategic partner, UNIT4 Business Software.
