AWE Completes Roll-Out of PROACTIS Purchasing Solution
PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today
announced the successful completion of a purchase-to-pay project at
the New Zealand division of AWE Limited.
AWE Limited is an Australian based oil and gas exploration and
production company that approached PROACTIS reseller, Eclipse
Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd, for a solution to streamline its
purchasing processes and gain greater control and visibility of
indirect spend.
PROACTIS has a strong presence in the oil and gas sector with
customers including ROC Oil Co Limited, Addax Petroleum, Star
Energy and Harouge Oil Operations.
The PROACTIS purchasing solution has been integrated to
AWE's SunSystems finance package and will simplify the day-to-day
purchase-to-pay process while ensuring compliance with all
sourcing, authorisation, and financial controls. AWE has also
adopted the stores module which records and controls stock items,
such as drilling equipment, which will prevent the unnecessary
purchasing of items which are already in stock, and often of high
value.
