SA Express Airways Controls Indirect Spend with PROACTIS
SA Express integrates PROACTIS purchasing solution to SAP financials through PROACTIS partner, AdvanceNet
SA Express is the latest organisation to streamline its purchase-to-pay processes with a spend control solution from eProcurement specialist, PROACTIS.
The domestic and regional airline, headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa will use the PROACTIS purchasing solution, which will be delivered by accredited PROACTIS partner AdvanceNet, to gain control of all indirect spend throughout the organisation, from initial request through to payment.
PROACTIS automates the typically inefficient paper-intensive processes involved in the purchasing of indirect goods and services. Through the use of PROACTIS, SA Express will be able to ensure that staff comply to company sourcing and authorisation rules, as well as reduce the time and cost of raising, authorising and processing orders/invoices.
Jenean Green, Chief Information Officer at SA Express comments: "Before PROACTIS, we used a manual system which took an excessive amount of time on the part of the buyer, the approver and Accounts Payable. With PROACTIS we can now eliminate the paper chase of approving and processing orders, improve controls and visibility of costs and redirect staff time to more value-add activities."
SA Express will also be using the PROACTIS solution for managing fixed assets so Finance and Accounting personnel are able to recognise the items that are purchased according to the fixed assets policy of the organisation and ensure the purchases are recognised in their SAP financial system.
Account Manager for SA Express at AdvanceNet, Liz de Freitas said: "PROACTIS is the leading spend control solution in South Africa. Its functionality and ability to seamlessly integrate with other back-office systems are like no other solution in our market, which is why we're seeing more and more customers like SA Express that are looking to enhance the value of their existing ERP system, improve financial control and reduce costs, adopt PROACTIS."
