UK Division of America's Leading Insurance Provider Selects PROACTIS
Metlife Services Limited selects PROACTIS over Ariba and others to automate its Accounts Payable shared service centre.
Part of Metlife Inc, the leading provider of insurance and financial services in the US, Metlife Services Limited is the shared services function that operates the Accounts Payable function for the UK subsidiaries.
After implementing SunSystems financials, the natural progression for Metlife Services was to automate its Accounts Payable (A/P) processes with a Spend Control system. With big growth plans, Metlife Services wanted a system that would not only streamline its current processes but facilitate the business as it expands.
With a strong track record of helping leading financial services companies to optimize their A/P processes and a strong integration framework with SunSystems financials, PROACTIS was selected. Metlife evaluated leading eProcurement solutions from Proactis, Ariba and several others. Despite Ariba being the incumbent system in Metlife Inc, the company's UK subsidiary decided PROACTIS was the system to help achieve their business objectives.
PROACTIS P2P and Employee Expenses are being implemented across Metlife Services' multiple sites in the UK. The solution will enable Metlife to streamline its A/P function, providing better budget checking and visibility of the cost pipeline. It will also enable them to enforce their procurement processes and ensure consistency across the whole organisation.
