Staffordshire County Council has become the latest public sector organisation to sign up to use the PROACTIS Sourcing and Contract Management software to help them achieve efficiencies and cashable savings in their Procurement Process. Staffordshire is the fourth largest County Council in England & Wales with a per annum spend on goods and services of over £400m.
Staffordshire will deploy the full PROACTIS Sourcing and Contract Management suite of software to enable them to achieve full eTendering, Supplier Management and on-going contract management. The council will also deploy the newly released Evaluation module. This sophisticated solution will help the council make savings in complex and costly process of evaluating tender and RFQ responses.
Ian Simpson, Head of Procurement, at Staffordshire County Council said "After extensive market testing we believe the PROACTIS system offers Staffordshire County Council the ideal infrastructure on which to build our future procurement strategy. It provides both ourselves and our suppliers the ability to achieve real efficiency and process savings, eliminating time and the potential for error right through the supply chain. The Evaluation Module is especially important to us as it provides an ideal mechanism for us to achieve efficiencies and cost savings in our backend processes."
