PROACTIS eSourcing offers a sophisticated web-based platform for managing an organisation’s sourcing requirements, from simple RFQs through to an involved and regulated tender process.

The system improves the transparency and auditability of the sourcing process, whilst eliminating time and effort for both buyers and suppliers.

PROACTIS eSourcing provides powerful tools to help the buyer develop the supplier request and define the preferred process (or impose the appropriate one), then streamlines the process of publishing the request, engaging with suppliers and evaluating responses. Key features include:-

  • Collaborative questionnaire designer to assist with the production of an RFx, drawing on a company-library of stored questions to speed up the specification process. Questions can have pre-determined response formats and automated weighting and scoring rules.
  • Electronic publishing via the Web, through the PROACTIS supplier portal or other publication vehicles such as community portals, eMarketplaces, the Government bodies (e.g. the Official Journal of the European Union).
  • Response management capabilities that enable suppliers to submit electronic responses, along with attachments and supplementary information according to your rules. PROACTIS SRM also handles the response security, and will impose a “locked-box” opening procedure if your rules dictate that the sourcing event requires.
  • Automated scoring and evaluation according to the weighting and allocation determined as part of the sourcing event. PROACTIS SRM allows subjective overrides where your rules permit, and the system facilitates collaborative panel marking.
  • PROACTIS SRM handles the Contract Award and supplier rejection processes, feeding into any Contract Management system that may be used by your organisation.

PROACTIS eSourcing can be deployed as a standalone procurement tool, or integrated with your SRM, contract management and supplier trading systems to act as part of an end-to-end eProcurement platform.
