The North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) works in conjunction with North East local authorities on the strategic procurement of high value goods and services in order to deliver savings, maximise efficiencies and promote best practice. They also work closely with the region’s supply base to boost competitive skills, signpost tendering opportunities and improve procurement processes.

The company has strong links to NEPO and the region as it worked in partnership with Durham County Council (on behalf of NEPO and its Member Authorities) to establish a North East collaborative electronic procurement portal (the "NEPO Portal"), the first of its kind for Local Government.
