Communications Provider to Streamline Purchasing & Invoice Processing with PROACTIS

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced one of the UK’s leading communications providers has selected PROACTIS’ Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) software and Invoice Managed Service solution.
The organisation supplies a broad range of communications; including business telephone systems, broadband and mobile products and services; to small, medium and large-sized business customers across the UK. As a growing organisation, with two independent finance systems operating across the business, they recognised a need to implement greater discipline and control around their internal purchasing processes.

As part of a systems rationalisation strategy, the organisation decided to implement a best-in-class eProcurement solution that would integrate to their PS Financials finance system and provide greater control over the goods and services they buy, as well as streamline their invoice processing.

Having looked at a number of eProcurement vendors, PROACTIS was selected, as a best-of-breed provider, which not only had the right software and services to meet all requirements, but a strong track record of integrating to customers’ financial and other back-office systems.

PROACTIS P2P will be rolled-out at the organisation’s headquarters and a number of offices across the UK, providing 150 employees with a 'guided buying' experience which will ensure compliance with corporate policies and avoid unnecessary or inappropriate purchases. It will also provide managers with greater budget control, increase cost-pipeline visibility and capture an electronic history of spend activity.

The PROACTIS Invoice Managed Service will remove the burden of invoice processing by electronically capturing invoices and importing them directly into PROACTIS P2P for automatic PO matching and transfer for payment into PS Financials.
