Health Insurance Company Selects PROACTIS to Assist in Procurement Transformation Program

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced that a health insurance company based in the United States, has signed a significant five-year subscription contract for the PROACTIS Source-to-Contract software suite as part of a transformation program established to streamline procurement practices and modernise supplier-related processes.
With continued regulatory pressures and organisation-wide change, the health insurance company needed a highly flexible procurement platform that would enable them to provide best value services while at the same time improve supplier collaboration. They wanted to increase the transparency and repeatability of procurement processes, improve management of all their clinical suppliers and enable self-service to become the norm.
The company selected the PROACTIS Source-to-Contract and cloud-based Supplier Network solution to provide good practice processes out-of-the box which facilitate the transformation of procurement and supplier-related activities. The solution replaces a legacy Ariba system and will underpin the company’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Sourcing, Contract Management and Supplier Engagement processes, while ensuring value to its suppliers via: self-service profile management, self-service catalogue management, RFx quotation and response, and account enquiry functionality.
PROACTIS is already the largest independent provider of Spend Control and eProcurement solutions and is fast being recognised as the solution of choice for Not-for-Profit (NfP) and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs).
