PROACTIS Procurement Solutions Selected to Help Meet Growth Plans

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement provider, today announced that a communications infrastructure business has selected the PROACTIS suite of procurement applications to help meet its ambitious growth plans. The company will implement PROACTIS Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Contract Management, and Supplier Network, across all of its procurement operations in the UK.
The company conducted an evaluation of eProcurement solutions and selected PROACTIS. The company were using spreadsheets for gathering procurement-related data that was distributed around the business and their people would number crunch and manually work out key performance indicators (KPIs).

With PROACTIS they can benefit from access to a single, comprehensive and joined up Spend Control platform that will give them that all important single version of the truth across all of their key procurement data and supplier-related processes. In addition, PROACTIS has the breadth and depth of functionality required for the organisation to leverage their buying power, gain best value, and maximise post-award savings.

PROACTIS will enable the organisation to minimise supplier-related risk and maintain strong supplier relationships by standardising the supplier selection, review, and communication processes. It will also streamline many routine administrative functions and enable self-service supplier maintenance of key information. This will free up time and help their procurement teams to bring more spend categories under management, and to perform more value added activities such as research into new supply alternatives, spend analysis, supply base rationalisation etc.

PROACTIS procurement applications are all built on a cloud-based framework that support geographically dispersed teams, as well as a broad range of self-service online supplier capabilities. PROACTIS applications are modular to allow deployment in any combination or sequence.
