PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, is pleased to announce that its clients Caerphilly County Borough Council and City of Cardiff Council have been shortlisted for this year’s prestigious Welsh National Procurement Awards.
Both councils have been shortlisted in Category 1: Innovation Through Procurement Awards and Category 10: Outstanding Contribution Award. City of Cardiff Council has also been shortlisted in Category 3: eProcurement Award and Category 5: Most Progressive Public Procurement Organisation.
The awards will be announced at an evening ceremony at Cardiff City Hall, in collaboration with The Welsh Government and Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies, on 20 March 2015.
“We are extremely proud that both Caerphilly County Borough Council and City of Cardiff Council have been shortlisted for these awards, particularly given the calibre of the awards and the rigorous entry requirements that their Procurement teams are subject to,” said Simon Dadswell, Marketing Director of PROACTIS. “PROACTIS solutions are designed to support best practice, a statement backed up by the councils’ roll-out of solutions being integral to their procurement transformation and efficiency savings.”
