The Commissioning and Procurement Team at City of Cardiff Council implemented PROACTIS eProcurement in June 2014 to manage all sourcing and contract management activity. The aim was to reduce costs, standardise procurement practices and automate processes to increase transparency, visibility and fairness amongst the marketplace.
City of Cardiff Council is a finalist in the Public Sector Category for their procurement transformation project which demonstrates an innovative use of cloud technology that has delivered over £970,000 of cashable savings to date, as well as greater efficiencies, improved choice and better services.
