Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Goes Live with PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement provider, today announced that Saint-Gobain Building Distribution has implemented PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay to automate the purchasing process and ensure visibility and control over indirect spend.
Saint-Gobain Building Distribution, part of the Saint-Gobain group, has over 1000 sites in the UK and Ireland spanning a huge breadth of specialist and general builders' merchants and distributors. Brands include Jewson, Graham and Ceramic Tile Distributors.

PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay has initially been rolled-out as a pilot to 30 users in the Marketing department, with a view to extend the implementation across all departments. One of the main drivers for implementing a purchase-to-pay system in Saint-Gobain Building Distribution was to gain full visibility of what was being spent and ensure all purchases comply with corporate policies.

PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay manages the entire purchasing process from initial order to approval of payment in a consistent and fully transparent process. Employees readily embrace it as the easiest way to buy goods and services while following established policies and procedures.

PROACTIS has been integrated to the Saint-Gobain's Kerridge ERP system which will streamline the invoice receipt and matching processing as well as provide visibility of payments for all involved in the purchasing cycle.
