National Trust Selects PROACTIS to Assist in Procurement Transformation
PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced that National Trust has purchased the PROACTIS suite of Source-to-Contract solutions as part of a transformation program established to streamline and automate procurement processes.
The integrated and easy-to-use procurement suite will be delivered via PROACTIS Cloud to underpin key processes: strategic sourcing, supplier information management, supply base management, supplier risk management and contract management. The project scope will also include integration into UNIT4 Agresso finance management system.
“During the past few years, the profile of procurement has risen significantly in the organisation as a function that can save costs and increase value of relationships with key suppliers. Delivering against these promises has required the company to re-engineer its procurement processes, and invest in modern procurement applications,” said Claire Smart, Procurement Director at National Trust. “The cloud-based PROACTIS solution is fit for purpose; it will provide good practice out-of-the-box which will facilitate process transformation to ultimately deliver greater bottom-line results.”
“We are delighted to be working with National Trust on their transformation program” said Simon Dadswell, Marketing Director at PROACTIS. “As a sophisticated, capable procurement organisation, National Trust will benefit from the very latest cloud technologies to improve decision support. They will obtain a ‘single version of the truth’ of the supply base, ensure that important credential documents are on hand and up to date, increase the number of suppliers with complete qualification records, and monitor contracts through their lifecycle. National Trust will also be able to successfully initiate and complete more strategic-sourcing projects with PROACTIS modern sourcing tools and track how many sourcing projects adhere to the full process.”
National Trust is a UK conservation charity of historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments. They have over 3.7 million members and 61,000 volunteers. More than 17 million people visit their pay for entry properties, while an estimated 50 million visit their open air properties.
National Trust is the latest organisation to join a long list of PROACTIS customers in the Charity and Not-for-Profit (NfP) sector.
