Hogeschool Utrecht selected PROACTIS software solutions as part of a central initiative which aims to improve procurement processes to meet compliance and governance objectives and drive administrative efficiencies across the purchase-to-pay process. Roll-out of the solution and integration to corresponding administrative solutions will take place the second half of this year with completion of the technical installation for 2014 and an expected 2,000 users.
"We are delighted to announce PROACTIS as our chosen strategic partner for the implementation of this solution," said Mr. W.A.W Kuus MSc, Director of Services and Procurement of Hogeschool Utrecht. "With the PROACTIS software solutions in place, we expect to significantly simplify and streamline our process for handling spend on goods and services, and optimise the efficiency of the teachers, freelancers, managers and accountants who handle these suppliers and transactions on a daily basis."
"Educational institutions are automating administrative and procure-to-pay operations to achieve savings by improving purchasing power, managing budgets and going paperless," said Jan van der Pouw, Territory Manager at PROACTIS Benelux. "We are excited to be working with Hogeschool Utrecht and are confident the PROACTIS solutions will deliver an effective way to manage spend - drive compliance with strategic agreements, simplify the day-to-day purchasing process and provide greater visibility to support budget control that is crucial to the success of the University's initiative for refining its administrative processes," Pouw said.
The PROACTIS software solutions enable organisations to improve procurement processes and streamline the entire day-to-day buying process; from request through authorisation, ordering, invoice processing, and payment via Accounts Payable. It provides the linkages between employees, internal systems, and suppliers that leverage the agreements and contracts established by Procurement.
