Housing Association Replaces Ariba with PROACTIS eProcurement

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced Grwp Gwalia has selected PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay on a 5-year subscription deal to replace its incumbent Ariba system.
Grwp Gwalia is a provider of housing and care services in south and mid Wales with a turnover of over £64m. The organisation employs around 1,500 staff across the business and manages over 10,300 units of accommodation and over 2,700 units of care.

The housing association needed a Purchase-to-Pay system that could not only streamline the purchasing process and electronically punchout to the xchangewales trading hub (an online service that allows public sector buyers to view and order goods and services through a wide range of electronic catalogues) but also integrate to their Infor SunSystems financial management system. PROACTIS was selected due to its proven ability to integrate to clients financial information in order to provide true visibility and control of spend.

"PROACTIS offers proven integration with popular financial systems which includes over 100 clients using Infor SunSystems," commented Simon Dadswell, Marketing Director at PROACTIS. "PROACTIS has been designed to be agnostic to other systems. As such, it is built with clear integration points that utilise industry standards and tools to make integration into clients system environments easy to implement and manage."
PROACTIS will also be integrated to the Association's InVu document management system to improve invoice processing efficiency by automating invoice receipting and matching.
