Conwy County Borough Council is the sixth largest local authority in Wales and spends £186 million on goods and services to support front-line services. In 2012, the Council selected PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay to cut costs and more effectively manage spending by driving purchasing compliance.
Following the successful implementation of PROACTIS, the Council is now looking to further optimise its Spend Control processes with the addition of:
- Stores: to record, control and track stock items in the Highways department to ensure purchases are only made when necessary.
- Internal Trading: to enable invoicing between internal departments to facilitate cross-charging.
- PCard Reconciliation: to provide integration of the PCard purchasing process within P2P for accrual, expense allocation and month-end reconciliation.
- Employee Expenses: to streamline and provide full visibility of the expense claim process.
PROACTIS is integrated to the Council's Infor Masterpiece Financial Management System for full financial visibility and control.
