Higher Education Universities in Netherlands Rely on PROACTIS for Spend Control
PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement provider, has announced that the higher education university sector in Netherlands will continue to rely on its procurement and purchase-to-pay software. In two newly awarded contracts, Hogeschool Fontys and Hanze Hogeschool Groningen join PROACTIS clients Hogeschool Inholland and Hogeschool Utrecht, which sees over 134,000 students and 12,400 staff in higher education establishments in Netherlands supported by the worlds most advanced eProcurement software.
In 2010, Hogeschool Inholland the largest college in the Netherlands implemented PROACTIS solutions across nine locations to improve procurement and streamline its purchase-to-pay processes. In 2012, Hogeschool Utrecht selected PROACTIS full suite of source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay software to support over 3,200 staff and 37,000 students across 11 locations in Utrecht and Amersfoort. Today, Hogeschool Fontys and Hanze Hogeschool Groningen have awarded PROACTIS as provider of software and services to reduce the overall cost of purchased goods and services, improve financial control and mitigate risk. PROACTIS solutions will support strategic sourcing and contract management processes, supplier management processes, management of daily purchase activity, efficient invoice processing and spend visibility. Key to the selection was PROACTIS proven integration to the Universities finance systems they have in place today: Microsoft Dynamics, CODA-Financials and Peoplesoft financials.
"We are very proud that we have been able to prove ourselves in the higher education sector in Netherlands and that we continue to build upon and extend our successful partnerships," said Rod Jones, CEO of PROACTIS. "We understand that this sector needs solutions that fully leverage the capabilities and price-performance of today's rapidly evolving computer environments, and they want to license them in ways that effectively match their cost to their value. In addition, they require a high level of reliability, scalability and security for mission-critical systems such as eProcurement."
